In case of fire:

1. Immediately alert all the people in the danger zone by all available means.
2. Activate the sounders using the manual call point (MCP) if there is one nearby (in the building).
3. Call the fire brigade by dialling the 112 emergency number.
4. Notify the building security service, porter or caretaker.

If you determine that your safety will not be compromised because the fire is relatively small, try to extinguish the fire:

• using an extinguisher;
• using an indoor hydrant (remember that water must not be used to put out live equipment!)
• using other equipment (e.g. a fire blanket).

Once an evacuation has been announced, leave the building in the evacuation direction indicated by green signs and arrows.
