112 emergency number calling manual

Once your 112 emergency call has been answered:

  1. Specify the location of the incident (name of the place, exact address, characteristic features or landmarks).
  2. Say what happened (describe the incident).
  3. Inform the 112 operator if there are any casualties, how many there are and what condition they are in.
  4. Introduce yourself.
  5. Answer any questions that the 112 operator may have.
  6. Do not hang up until the 112 operator has done so.
